A ritual route of customs takes its toll
Until they find us pacing to the gates of hell
The pain and the myth of a birthright, the lies of providence - and identity
A legacy - of decimation - drawn in the ruins of our lies
The written word crumbles, the spoken word bounces within the walls of this echo chamber
Ghosts of ghosts, bodies on bodies, the only relics that will be left behind
We kill, in the name of boundary line
Watching the end of life unfold
Afraid, and fueled by hate
The only lessons learned are the ones we regret
Bear witness when convenient, but painful when we stay blind
Only seeking truth when it pacifies our own minds
Crush or be crushed is what was taught to me in absentia
Shake off the coil of mortality in the face of opposition
